A hundred times I've felt convicted during Vance's sermons because of you. I tried to do the things he recommended, but you just kept pushing away. now tonight Vance says that we should work out the issues between the person we need to forgive before approaching the altar... I tried to this so many times, but you refused to reconcile. Even now, your rudeness and selfishness pains me. I can't forgive you, and I hate that you can just move on so easily, that I meant so little. How can you resolve conflict with a person who refuses to confront it?

Sam's Club Foolishness with Kurt

Okay, so I had to go shopping for some stuff yesterday. My roommate Kurt came with me, and we were also joined by Ben from my family group at Wesley. Anywho, we stopped at Walmart where Kurt massively shopped. Ben got his allergy medicine, and I picked up a few household cleaning supplies.

Walmart wasn't anything special... However, Sam's Club was a drastic difference. I had to pick up some milk and also decided to buy some cheesecake (Cheesecake Factory brand, yum!). We are walking around, and everyone knows how Sam's gives free samples of food. Kurt goes up to one serving grapes and asks the guy "Can I have that one?" pointing to the plastic cup in the middle of the tray.

He proceeded to do this at 4 or 5 other carts in the frozen section. One of the ladies started cracking up after he asked for a cup at hers. So, I get my stuff and meet back up with him now that he has a little plate full of samples. On our way to the registers, a little Asian girl (couldn't exactly tell if she was in high school or college, or could have been middle school) walks by. Kurt sees that she is eating a sample he hasn't had. He says, "Excuse me, where did you get that?" She turns and with a weird look and points further down the way we were walking, before she continues she throws another confused look my way, as I'm well into cracking up by now.

As I recovered the ability to speak complete sentences, I look at Kurt who now has a huge smile on his face. He was ready to go get some of that sample, where he, once again, asked,"Can I have that one?" I couldn't believe he just randomly asked the little girl from out of nowhere. His manner of doing it was hilarious, beyond words and cannot ever be accurately described unless I had a video of it. That almost completely made my day.

Later, I went to Dusty's to help her with her program for Programming I. We pretty much just hung out until it was time for flag football, which I have a decent bit to talk about in my Rants blog a bit later. Check it out if you hate when people neglect a talent you have that is above everyone else, and they randomly wonder why, after telling them calmly a few times, you don't want to participate anymore. However, I won't go too far into that. It is a story for another time.

Anyway, I'm going to head off. I didn't get much sleep last night and was up by 8:15 this morning. Hope everyone has/continues to have a nice day!

<georss:box>30.312377954989792 -84.35187950845342 30.55277295498979 -84.09781950845341</georss:box>

The beginning.

So, I've been wanting to start one of these for a while. It has just taken me a little bit of time to sit down and actually do it. I apparently need to sit down and do some research on how to do this and use all these tools since a lot has changed since I first started contemplating it. I also need to brush up on my HTML and such things since those, too, have changed. Anyway, we'll see how this runs for now.
